When adding narration to a clip, is it possible to bring in a pre recorded .wav file and drop it onto the clip, or does all narration have to be done in the editing frame?
thanks

Re: Narration questionYes you can import a narration. Just add it to one of the audio tracks. If there is/are other audio tracks present, toggle the respective audio volumes (in the Effects panel) to bring forward/push back the audio that you want/want to supress.
To detach audio from the video clip right click on the clip in the timeline and select 'Ungoup'. Deselect the clip and select just the audio which you can then delete. Don't forget that all edits that you make are non-destructive as regards the original clip so if you get into a mess and can't get back, then delete the clip from the timeline and copy back the unedited clip from the media bin.
