Re: The Spring 2010 Muvipix Video Contest
Yeah, being a site admin must be fun times, luckily IE6 is all but out of the equation now, and the browsers are starting to come back into conformity; so developing/updating a website should cause less headaches continuing into the future. I wish I were creative enough to write something witty here.
Re: The Spring 2010 Muvipix Video ContestI'm having some kind of issue with the Life of Idle Luxury vid. The audio is fine, but all I get on the screen is a very thin vertical line that seems to have some movement and color in it, almost as if all of the horizontal direction of the video has been squashed until it's just a very thin vertical line.

Re: The Spring 2010 Muvipix Video ContestIt's working fine now. Thanks, Ron!
Re: The Spring 2010 Muvipix Video Contest
Hm, maybe a WMP plug-in issue. It's just a simple WMV 9 codec. Unless you're on a MAC, you shouldn't have any problems with the codec at all. Maybe try a different browser and if that works, update the WMP plug-in? Just a guess. Regards,

Re: The Spring 2010 Muvipix Video ContestI had to install the WMP plug-in before I could play any of these, so I have to assume it's the latest version. The rest all work except for the mov file, which I didn't play because I'm not going to install Quicktime.

Re: The Spring 2010 Muvipix Video Contest
If you have Win7, you can just download it and play it natively in windows media player. I wish I were creative enough to write something witty here.
Re: The Spring 2010 Muvipix Video ContestOnly because I'm avoiding installing anything on this laptop that I really don't have to have. Ever since I reloaded it a few weeks ago to solve my networking problems it boots about twice as fast and has been working great. I have QT installed on my desktop and will play that video from there later this evening.

Once again, How to Escape Winter - What a beautiful way to showcase your family memories. Very slick and professional. And again, my personal favorite, How to live a life of idol luxury - Very clean and professional editing, along with good shots. I wish I were creative enough to write something witty here.
