new opening credits

Postby gail spiro » Sun Sep 27, 2009 2:24 pm

HI- I just completed a new version of my opening credits. They're only about 13 seconds, but took forever to create- I couldn't pin down my ideas. hope you like this:

Very cool Gail! Looks very polished. How did you do the rotation?

I just did simple keyframing. The disc was a separate file, on a lower track than the viewer. I edited the disc with the text and photos in photoshop, and simply rotated it in the viewer. The background is a movipix motion video, which worked perfectly with my image! The only effect was a guassian blur. The hard part was figuring out exactly what I wanted- there were so many possibilities it felt overwhelming. I just played with it for a while over the course of several days, until I was able to pin down an idea.
Thanks for the feedback!

That is very cool, Gail. And I'm sure it was a LOT of work!

Great! I love it! And as Doreen said, very different. It always gets my juices flowing when I see something like this .. and start thinking about all the interesting things I can try.
