Many thanks Chuck...You are a patient man.

I am only kidding about bribing all contests I enter...I have only bribed 10 of the one's that I won. The rest were 'family'.

As they say at the Academy's, 'It's not the winning that counts, it's the appreciation of your peers'. :-8

Can I host on my own website? Also my video is flash 720x480, 4:3 would mess things up.
I wish I were creative enough to write something witty here.

Sorry Tiny, the rules are that you have to upload to the gallery and the largest size is 640 x 480, still 4:3 or 16:9 doesn't matter ;)

That's fine. Is my understanding correct that when exporting in Premier Elements a WS movie at 640x480 that it will just add the black bars instead of distorting the image? I've never done 4:3 before and all my footage is native 16:9. Thanks

As long as the aspect ratio is 16:9 it will look just fine. If there are any tips out there for exporting standard ntsc footage in widescreen at 640 x 480 please speak up :) I don't think you have to do anything different Tiny but maybe someone has done it before and has some pointers. You can always export a few seconds and see how it looks.

You will now see an additional album to upload your entries to - "2009 Muvipix Video Contest". Upload your video and thumbnail as usual to this album. Also provide a short description, title and the category that you are entering.

Please understand that once your video successfully uploads, you will not see again until public voting commences (May 9, 2009). You will receive a confirmation message that your video was uploaded and needs to be approved by an Admin. If you're still not sure that it uploaded, post here and we'll double check it for you. Good luck everyone!

*I've also included these instructions in the first post.

Does the thumbnail need to be that exact size? Is 100x66 to 100x79 okay?

Looks like some great prizes!

Nice prize pool!

Question on the 'Elements Only' category. Would Muvipix motion backgrounds be allowed?

Thanks,
