Re: The Muvipix.com Guide to Premiere Elements 7 is here!Hey Steve -
I'm glad I found a place to post my glowing review of your new book. Even though I haven't upgraded to PE7 yet, I bought your book on PE7 to see if it would solve some of my problems with PE4. It did solve a lot of the problems I've been having, and I have only read a couple of chapters. Just like the awesome Muvipix tutorials, your book is clear and concise. Best of all, it acknowledges the host of compatibility problems between PE and all other programs - including camcorder interfaces - and offers workarounds that really solve the problems, usually without having to buy any new software! Great job! Brenda
Re: The Muvipix.com Guide to Premiere Elements 7 is here!Thank you very much, Brenda!
And -- not to nudge anyone who isn't willing, but -- Amazon allows for the posting of personal reviews too. And they can be very helpful in promoting the book! HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: The Muvipix.com Guide to Premiere Elements 7 is here!I got a thing from Amazon to post my opinion. Since I am not a very good writer, I haven't done it yet..But I will as soon as I get my thoughts together!!

Re: The Muvipix.com Guide to Premiere Elements 7 is here!I beefed up my review a little bit and posted it on Amazon. It gave me a chance to plug the Muvipix tutorials as well.

Re: The Muvipix.com Guide to Premiere Elements 7 is here!Hi All,
I plan on picking up the book pronto. My only question is which book would you recommend for Photoshop 7? I just bought the PE7/Photoshop7 bundle and am overwhelmed in trying to figure it all out. When I looked on Amazon for the Muvipix.com Guide I saw 2 books for Photoshop7: 1) Photoshop Elements 7: The Missing Manual by Barbara Brundage, and 2) Teach Yourself VISUALLY Photoshop Elements 7 by Mike and Linda Wooldridge I can't afford both books so does anyone have a recommendation for one of 'em? I'd like to pick up the PE7 and the Photoshop book at the same time to get the free shipping. (is anyone else frustrated that Adobe doesn't include decent tutorials?) Thanks, Michael
Re: The Muvipix.com Guide to Premiere Elements 7 is here!Hi Michael,
I'd recommend the Barbara Brundage book. Barbara has been writing the Photoshop Elements missing manual books since PSE version 3 and does a great job. The book has excellant coverage and Barbara explains things in easy to understand language. Barbara is also a regular on the Adobe Photoshop Elements forums.
Re: The Muvipix.com Guide to Premiere Elements 7 is here!I have the Missing Manual for an earlier version and is very useful and easy to follow.

Re: The Muvipix.com Guide to Premiere Elements 7 is here!Wow!
Thank you all for your quick and thoughtful replies. I'll definitely go for Barbara's book and check out the links you've all suggested. One last question. If I have a technical issue with PE7 do you recommend I post here or on the Adobe site? Thanks again for all your help! Be well, Michael
Re: The Muvipix.com Guide to Premiere Elements 7 is here!Michael,
My thoughts are that it depends ... Here are some comments and suggestions -- Barbara Brundage frequents the Adobe site forum for Photoshop Elements -- if your question involves both photos and videos or slide shows or anything involving Premiere Elements, I suggest posting here -- there is also the http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/ site that Chuck mentioned. Recently it has been more active than the Adobe forum site for discussions of editing photos with Photoshop Elements. If in doubt, feel free to post here first. Someone will reference you to other sites if we know that they contain a good resource for your specific question. Barb O
Re: The Muvipix.com Guide to Premiere Elements 7 is here! Thanks Barb O,
I appreciate your suggestions. There are so many places to go that in and of itself is almost overwhelming...but in a good way! m
