Definitely an improvement But if all y'all guys and gals want REAL pork BBQ, come on here to East Carolina! EDIT: OK - "pork" not "port" - some guys are SOOOO fussy...

Hey, two of my favorite words: Port and BBQ all in the same place! Now, with MY "pork" BBQ, I usually reach for a big fruit-bomb Pinot Noir, or a Zinfandel, but maybe I'll try the Port... On a serious note, I do agree with E. Carolina for the Q, though I also enjoy that stuff they do in western Carolina too.

Bob, They have some of the best pork BBQ in NE Arkansas... I can't wait till we go home to the DIxie Pig and get a jumbo pig sandwich... right now, I would give anything for something good to eat... In Texas, they are big brisket eaters..Took me awhile to get used to that...

Thanks Donna. I have tried and like Texas brisket but never Ark. I don't want to hijack Jack's thread, so perhaps we should open a separate BBQ rant thread. Then everybody could sing the virtues of their particular Q
