Adobe Pro is by subscription. I'm not going to do that. The full version of DaVinci can be purchased for $300. Does it do everything my old Pro CSS5.5 version does?

Re: Pro vs. DaVinci ResolveMatthew,
I had the same dilemma. I downloaded the free version of DaVinci and it meets all the requirements I had in PrePro. I am not a 'power user' but I do like to take advantage of all the features - where I can. There are loads of helpful videos on YouTube, so not too daunting to start. Gerry
Re: Pro vs. DaVinci ResolveBlackmagic themselves have several training books, training videos and associated example project files on their website which might be a good place to start.

Re: Pro vs. DaVinci ResolvePersonally I don't mind the subscription anymore, I didn't like it at first but actually an fine with it now. I always have the most current releases and the price is not unreasonable for all that I get. I have cut my subscription down to just Acrobat Pro now because I was not using the other programs anymore. If I needed them again I would have no problem going back to my $29/mo contract for everything.
