issues with 15Any idea what is wrong? I have shut down and restarted the program and shut down and restarted the computer. No difference. Thank you! Re: issues with 15Sorry you are having issues. Could your main computer volume be turned off accidently? Or maybe you muted the overall track??

Re: issues with 15No, computer volume is on. Volume level on tracks is 100%. I have tried multiple video clips and it is the same with all. Thanks for trying!

Re: issues with 15Do you have or have you recently had a USB audio device -- like a microphone or a headset -- plugged into your computer?

Re: issues with 15I did have my bluetooth connected but it was turned off and I have turned the computer on and off since.

Re: issues with 15Your screen capture picture doesn't show any audio in your movie, other than a faint audio on our video clips. But I assume you've got full-level audio of some sort.
That said, have you checked your audio hardware settings, as I show you in this tutorial at about 1:50. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: issues with 15No sound. Looks to me like the speakers should be working.
By the way, 13 is working just fine. (But I want to publish in 15 so...) You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. Windows 10, Intel (R) Core, i7 - 6500 U CPU @ 2.50 GHz 2.6 GHz, 12 GB RAM
Re: issues with 15Sorry. But I don't see anything that would cause your issue. Though I still don't see any audio on your timeline other than the weak audio on your video.
So you're saying that you've added music to your movie and still don't hear any sound? If so, I'm stumped. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: issues with 15When you play the clips themselves outside of the program they play and you get sound?
A lot of times when I use zoom or another device my internal settings on the computer switch so that it changes to a different default set of speakers. It always switched to the speakers on my monitor and the the external speakers I am using. I go into settings on the computer and switch the default back to my external speakers. Re: issues with 15Tried again tonight - audio worked fine. No changes to anything that I know about... Stupid computers...
(Yes, the same clip has always played fine in VLC and 13.) However, the video is still off. I am attaching 2 pictures. The one is a screenshot of what it looks like when I put video into the program. Any video clip looks the same. 'Even pictures don't fit the frame properly. The Scale to Frame option is not available like it is in 13. The other picture is what I get when I save an Image HD 1920 X 1080. It has black all the way around, not just at the top and bottom. Looks very different than what is on the screen. Suggestions for that? Thanks for your help!! Windows 10, Intel (R) Core, i7 - 6500 U CPU @ 2.50 GHz 2.6 GHz, 12 GB RAM
Re: issues with 15This is probably best handled as a new topic, since it's not related to the original thread.
Indeed there is Scale to Frame Size in version 13. But how things fill out the frame depends on the aspect ratio of the frame (usually 16:9 for most current videos) and the aspect ratio of your videos or photos (which may be 4:3 or, if shot on an upright phone, could be 9:16 -- taller than wide). See we'd need to know project settings and your media specs to explore this any deeper. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: issues with 15I can't find a Scale to Frame Size in 15. This is where the issue is. It works fine in 13.

Re: issues with 15You really don't see Default Scale to Frame Size on the General page of the program's Preferences?
Can you post a screen shot of this preference page? HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
