When I try to put an abstract background from Muvipix in to PE2019 I get a message that the importer recorded a generic error.
I can not down load any of the backgrounds - after i have unzipped them. Any one know what i am doing wrong.

Re: backgrounds not accepted in PE19Shat is the file extension of the image you are trying to import?

Re: backgrounds not accepted in PE19We have had reports of some of these MOV backgrounds not loading well into basic video programs. Many are really designed for After Effects.
But tell us exactly which one you're working with. We'll find a way to make it workable for you. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: backgrounds not accepted in PE19I tried several (10)of the motion backgrounds (general) but 019 through 023 for specifics
Re: backgrounds not accepted in PE19Those unfortunately are pretty old files. And they're made for 4:3 standard definition videos.
But they can be made usable by running them through Handbrake, if you're interested. Or if you'd like to give me a list, I'll convert them for you and then put them on Dropbox so you can download them. To convert them in Handbrake: 1. Open the MOV file in Handbrake. 2. Set the Preset to Fast1080p30. 3. Under the Dimensions tab, set Anamorphic to Custom, uncheck Keep Aspect Ratio, set Width to 720 and Height to 480. 4. Select a Save As destination and name and click on Start Encode to begin the conversion. This will create a 4:3 720x480 MP4 file that will load right into Premiere Elements. (Unfortunately Handbrake won't convert to a higher-resolution video.) Hope that helps! HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: backgrounds not accepted in PE19Thank you Steve.

Re: backgrounds not accepted in PE19Perfect. Thank you. I forgot about handbrake as I do not use it too often.
Thank you guys matt
Re: backgrounds not accepted in PE19Glad it works, Matt! Again, I apologize that some of our backgrounds don't work out of the box. And I'm glad to do any converting you need.

Re: backgrounds not accepted in PE19Steve, thank you. No need but I appreciate the offer. It took me two minutes to recall that I set up the preset and I was able to convert all I need. With no basketball film to review I have been experimenting with all the effects and other tools in PE19. I have become quite adequate. Perhaps a tad above average. Still need work on key framing.
The Muvipix Tutorials are the key to my initial and ongoing education. I have expanded into learning Audicity and XBox game bar in Microsoft 365 for screen sharing tool. The Game Bar is not the best for what I need in screen sharing but I have not been able to figure out OBS, which I am told is great for screen sharing and recording. The difference between being able to learn PE and not grasp OBS is that in PE I have and had Muvipix.com, the tutorials, the downloads and the forum for help. Game changer! Thanks again Matt
Re: backgrounds not accepted in PE19Thank you for your highest compliments, Matt!
