Hi
Back to editing after a break. I'm just working my way through a pile of clips in a new project. Is there a way of marking them so I know which ones I've already trimmed etc?
Regards
John

Re: Marking trimmed clipsYou can put them in a folder in the Project Assets panel.
I guess it depends on what you mean by 'trimmed'. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Marking trimmed clips
Many thanks Steve, I just knew you would have the answer. By trimming I mean setting the in and out points of a clip. I've not used folder option before, so will give it a try. Regards John [1] Sony RX100 M6 (PAL)

Re: Marking trimmed clipsI was playing around with this in Premiere Elements 15 and found that you can modify the "file name" listed under each asset in the asset panel and can include something like an asterisk to mark them. At first I thought changing the "file name" would change the file name as it is stored in the file system, but it doesn't. In Premiere Elements 15, the file name you initially see listed under each asset is just the default "title." There is still a link to the original filename on the hard drive. It's probably the same way in 14.

Re: Marking trimmed clips
Many thanks for that great tip. It works fine in PE 14 too. John [1] Sony RX100 M6 (PAL)
