Re: After Effects - Time Remapping - MojitoPersonally I find time remapping much, much easier in AE than in PrPro. First right click on the clip and select Time-Remapping. On the clip I placed a key frame where I wanted the clip to start and a second keyframe where I wanted the end. I then counted the frames between. Shift+Page Down for 10 frames at a time and then Page UP to backup or Page Down single frames. Starting from the last keyframe move the CTI the number of frames for the next set of keyframes. Lasso the two keyframes and Ctrl+C to copy and then Ctrl+V to paste. You will know have 4 keyframes. This is handy if you want to have 50 keyframes. Each time you lasso and copy paste the number of keyframes doubles so very fast to have exponentially many more each time.
For this project I kept the keyframes at Linear which is a diamond shape. If you wanted smoother movement then use Bezier by lasso all of the keyframes and Ctrl+click on one keyframe. They will all change to Bezier by the round shape. An alternative method to Loop Video is through the property panel. However, the clip must be the exact desired length. I have exported a short 10 seconds from PrPro on prior videos and used this method. Screen shot: You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. aka Cheryl

Re: After Effects - Time Remapping - MojitoNicely done.
Re: After Effects - Time Remapping - MojitoVery entertaining! But what was the bartender saying while he created the drink?

Re: After Effects - Time Remapping - MojitoMOM I liked the video. The really liked the side videos that were timed to the music really well. At first I did not realize it was some sort of mirror effect but it was nicely timed. I also liked that text in the left corner that keep changing too. I wish I knew a quarter as much as you do with After Effects.

Re: After Effects - Time Remapping - MojitoThanks guys! The bartender asked if this was video and then went on to tell how to make a Mojito. At the end he asked if he could taste it, which he did with the straw. He then shook his head and said too strong. Johnny is much loved at the resort. He is mentioned by guests frequently on TripAdvisor.
Sidd, funny you should mention knowing how to use AE. The past year I have used AE for time-lapse and realized how rusty I was starting on this project. When I opened AE things did not look like the normal editing panels and soon I realized that the last time I had camera tracking workspace open. I did google a few tasks and after about an hour my memory did kick in. The old adage is true if you don't use it you lose it. aka Cheryl
