size of coloured backgroundI understand that the resolution of the coloured background needs to be 2500x1875 pixels - I need to create it for chroma key. It is not a photograph, just a plain coloured background to go on video track 1. I also understand it is better to use PSD format. However, when I created it, after inputting 2500x1875 pixels, 72 pixels per inch, it shows 88.10 cm width and 66.15 cm height. Is this correct? I would appreciate advice or guide to create one if what I did is not correct, thanks.
Re: size of coloured backgroundWhat is the size of the project you are working on? Can you provide more detail on the project attributes? That will help make for a clearer answer.

Re: size of coloured backgroundWe are filming translation of the biblical passages into sign language to be viewed on TV, DVD, YouTube, Vimeo, website, mobile etc (HD). Hope this helps (not sure about 'size of project').
Re: size of coloured backgroundRemember that linear measurements (inches, centimeters, etc.) mean nothing in the world of video. The only thing that matters is the measurement in pixels. And, assuming you're using a standard 1920x1080 high-def video setting for your project, you need only make a graphic that is 1920 pixels wide and 1080 pixels tall to use as your background.
We often recommend 2500x1875 as a photo or graphic size to allow some extra resolution for panning and zooming. But, if you're just going to fill the frame with your graphic, as you apparently are, it need only be the same size of your video frame. Re: size of coloured backgroundThank you, that's clear now.
