hi there from foggy uk, I hope everyone had a great xmas :TU:

I cant believe its taken me this long to find this website, thanks to "chuck" I think that mentions this site in a you tube video about gradient wipes :TU:

ive been using pre 10 for a couple of years now and before that movie maker, but when they released the new one I didn't like it anymore and its limitations...

anyways I do have a lot of questions, I may have been using it for a while but experience is limited, I think the one thing I hate about it compared to WMM is the rendering, it takes forever and I just want to crack on sometimes, u know when you get excited about something and you just want to execute it..... is pre 15 quicker???

so before I post loads of questions I shall have to troll through your site..... so I don't get annoying lol

(thanks to all that have welcomed me)
errr John, I hope I have explained this right;
windows 7, (service pack 1) Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.20GHz
Ram 2.00Gb, I had someone uprate my ram and I ended up with 2 harddrives????? for example when I look on windows explorer it says, HDD(c) and Local Disk (I)
system type is 32-bit operating system

im pretty sure its down to memory, and I have been contemplating purchasing a new computer but its knowing exactly what I need and lets me honest a lot of that info goes over my head lol, more ram and biggier hard drive with a good graphics card would be the answer imo lol....
as for the format thing, do you mean what my camera format does it record at?

You will need a new 64 bit computer to run Premiere Elements 15.

I have been contemplating purchasing a new computer but its knowing exactly what I need

How about telling us all of the software you will be using, what camera(s) you will be using, and how you will be viewing the finished videos?
