"Not sure why the number of entries dropped so much after the first couple of years."

Maybe because most of the population is using their cell phone to take vids and they do not use editing software to make a good movie that is interesting.

Just to be clear my suggestion is for a showcase of talent not a contest. Maybe if there is enough interest a separate contest can be scheduled for later.

How about a Video Week(s)?
Have a scheduled thread where anybody can sign up for a slot on a specific day and upload the Video of the Day? :conf:

I stopped in a pawn shop a few months back to get a watch battery and I asked the owner where is the camera section. He said he quit taking cameras because people use cell phones now.

Thanks Chuck, I've been busy with non-editing stuff. Made a few Christmas gifts. Dusted off the sewing machine for one project. I kept looking for the Ctr+Z!

You can get sewing machines that have Ctrl+Z now !! I'm hoping to get our light show up and running next weekend :)
