Editing in Premiere Pro CS6
I have two clips filmed under identical circumstances. I've made (lots of) color adjustments to the first clip.
Is there a way to select the first clip, 'copy' edits, select 2nd clip and 'paste' edits?
thanks,
Paz

Possible to transfer color edits from one clip to another?Editing in Premiere Pro CS6
I have two clips filmed under identical circumstances. I've made (lots of) color adjustments to the first clip. Is there a way to select the first clip, 'copy' edits, select 2nd clip and 'paste' edits? thanks, Paz Lenovo W70l; 1.6 GHz, i7 quad core, Win 7, 64 bit, 16 gigs DDR-3 RAM; NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800; Two 1T 7200 internal drives; BluRay burner
Re: Possible to transfer color edits from one clip to anotheYes if you are using Adobe Premiere Pro. Just right click the clip you have corrected and choose copy. Then right click on the clip you want to change and choose paste attributes.

Re: Possible to transfer color edits from one clip to anotheHi Paz, Same as in Premiere Elements;
Select clip you want to copy all effects from, then right click on the clip and select Copy. Then select the clip(s) you want copy the effects to, then right click on the clip and select Paste Attributes. This will copy will open a dialog that will allow you to select what attributes you want to copy to the clip. I can do screen shots if you need more help 1. Re: Possible to transfer color edits from one clip to anotheThanks, guys!
Ya know, I looked at right click. "Copy" ought to mean copy that entire segment of video, right? No way (or word) that meant 'copy edits' to me. If they'd said 'copy attributes' then maybe... I'll blame it on that anyway.
Thanks so much, but I get it now. No need. And I didn't know it could be done in Pre El either. I love learning something (many things) new every day! Lenovo W70l; 1.6 GHz, i7 quad core, Win 7, 64 bit, 16 gigs DDR-3 RAM; NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800; Two 1T 7200 internal drives; BluRay burner
Re: Possible to transfer color edits from one clip to anotheI didn't think you would have any trouble figuring it out Paz
The only difference in Premiere Elements is that to paste the attributes you need to go to the main menu and select Edit > Paste Attributes, there is no right click option. Also, I am pretty sure that it will paste everything and there is no option to only paste specific attributes like there is in Premiere Pro, unless that has changed in the last version or two. 1. Re: Possible to transfer color edits from one clip to anothePremiere Pro also has a keyboard shortcut to paste attributes:
