The transitions in this video blew me away. They aren't just whip transitions, they seem to pan/tilt too. Anyone know how to do this?
The colors are beautiful too.

Re: Check out these transitionsI think it's more effects than transitions.
It seems like a quick dissolve with some 3D effects applied to the beginning and end of each clip.
Re: Check out these transitionsThe Swish Effect:
From the video page: Step 1: swish into scene Step 2: swish out of scene Step 3: swish into scene Step 4: swish out of the scene Step 5: repeat for infinity Then just edit the clips together through the swishes! And here are 98 video examples. This was a challenge on Vimeo a while back: https://vimeo.com/tag:swishblog aka Cheryl

Re: Check out these transitionsHere is the creator's explanation:
“ Thanks! Everything was done with a motorized 3-axis motion control (Emotimo TB3 + Rhino Slider). Slow constant motion, then sped up for intro&outro of each shot using time remapping, adding motion blur in the process. Don't have 3-axis controller so I guess I won't be doing that anytime soon. Re: Check out these transitionsThe fast motion, slow motion stuff is being used heavily in reality TV shows now. I watched a couple episodes of Duck Dynasty and they use that a lot. I really love the effect. The Swish effect is really cool, love the "To Infinity" part. Never really thought about doing this before but I think it would be fun to try
