I'm trying to figure out how to have the volume of song I'm using fade out gradually just towards the end of the scene where I'm using it in a movie I'm editing.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Thank you.

Re: Fading Audio Out in SoundtrackI can't give you precise instructions I'm afraid as I do not have PrEl.
If you click on the audio of the clip then open up the Effects panel you should see under Audio Effects the volume setting. Use this to keyframe the adjustments to the volume level. Here is a snapshot of the effect control in PPro - it will likely look something like this in PrEl (I hope ) You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. AMD Ryzen 3900x 12C/24T, ASUS x570 mobo, Arctic Liquid Freezer ll 280, Win11 64 bit, 64GB RAM, Radeon RX 570 graphics, Samsung 500GB NVMe 980 PRO (C:), Samsung 970 Evo SSD (D:), Dell U2717D Monitor, Synology DS412+ 8TB NAS, Adobe CS6.
Re: Fading Audio Out in SoundtrackThe easiest way is to select the clip on the timeline. Right click and select Fade>Fade Audio out. That will set two keyframes to control the volume setting. If the fade is too quick, you can click the first of the two keyframes and drag it to the left to lengthen the transition.
