Disc Menus

Postby shamrock » Sat Feb 25, 2012 10:56 pm

I was told to go to this site to get additional disc menus that are not available on PE10. My video is a wedding video and I need approprate templates that would provide room for 4 short videos and a scene selection button. Please provide the information as to how I would download the templates from this site and How much this would cost.

Thanks
shamrock

Welcome to Muvipix!

Many of our menu templates are free. Others are available for unlimited download with a subscription to the site.

Go to our home page by clicking on the word "Muvipix" in the upper left of this web page for more information on subscribing to the site.

Type a key word (like "Wedding") in the product search box to search for our wedding-themed products.

There are 4 templates, one if for Encore DVD the other three are Premiere Elements version 3 and above.
Have you checked out the Wedding templates that come with Premiere Elements, they are pretty nice too.

Instruction video for installing the templates is here

Hello Gentlemen,

This is exactly the info I need... almost. Is there a newer version of these instructions somewhere?
I'm working in Adobe Premiere Elements 10 (not 2). When I "explore" Windows7, the contents of the Adobe DVD Templates folder is different. I have DVD Templates>Common>General>Fun. Please advise on where *exactly* to put new templates in a more recent version of PrE. I have found the free "18 scenes" "plain text" template, which seems like it should work - but now I'm not sure which folder I should put it in since the instructions are for a much older version of the Adobe software.

My initial question (on the Adobe Forum) is that I am looking for a "plain" disc menu (where I can add my own photo as the background) that has the option of multiple Main Menu Markers on the first screen, six (or more) Scene Markers on subsequent screens, and NO audio.

Thank you for your assistance.

You can remove the audio from any template by deleting the WAV file from the template folder. Or replacing it with your own audio.

With version 10, the DVD file folders are in the same spot as in previous versions: C:\PROGRAM FILES/ADOBE/ADOBE PREMIERE ELEMENTS 10/DVD TEMPLATES.

Here are instructions for where to put our DVD or disc menus once you've unzipped the files.

Steve and Chuck,
Thank you very much for having this website. I will find more time to look around. There is a lot of helpful information here.

Steve - spot on, that worked. I have transferred the menus I like from version 7 to version 10. However, I do not see any .WAV files in the Templates folder, or in the individual folders where I can see the artwork for the disc menus.

Chuck - the video was slightly helpful, but the "guts" of version 2 looks so different from version 10 that it's impossible to follow the "step by step" instructions. Thanks anyway.

Again, I appreciate your time, patience and willingness to share your expertise with fumbling Newbies. Thanks.

I finally found some time to get back to my project. The "old" disc menu is working well in the newer version of PrE. Thank you all for your assistance, time and patience.
