contentHi, I've been using pre 10 for several weeks and find it works great for me. I have one problem though, the 'content,' has gone! I tried to reload the content disc and the only option I am given is to uninstall ! Has anyone else had this problem ?
Re: contentNever heard of that, ayla.
You don't say which operating system you're using, but if you're on a Windows machine go to C:/PROGRAM FILES/ADOBE/PREMIERE ELEMENTS 10/DVD TEMPLATES/COMMON. Do see only one or do you see several folders in that directory? BTW, if you go to the User Control Panel at the top of this forum, you can open up the Profile tab and add, as your signature, your computer specs, operating system and camcorder specs (as many of us have). That way, whenever you post a question, everyone will be able to see which computer and video environments you're work with. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: contentI seem to be having a similar problem. I installed content using Disc4 when I installed prel10. Now when I load a project, I get dialog box titled 'Install Full Content' telling me that I only have a reduced set of content. But I can only uninstall content if a run Disc4 again. Under C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 10\DVD Templates\Common I see 14 folders named 'Entertainment', ..... 'Wedding'. Does this mean that Content is fully installed and that I should ignore the message?

Re: contentActually, borgie, you apparently seem to have the exact opposite problem!
It sounds like your content is fully installed. Click the Do Not Show Again box next time the option screen shows up. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: contentHi All,
I am not sure if this could be of any help to you. A while ago now we were having a similar problem with the contents. What we found was our problem, was that we were running Tune-up Utilities, and everytime it did its thing, it calmly took out all of the content. We would go to install again, and it came up with the message that we would have to uninstall and reinstall. Since taking the tick out of the boxes in Tune-up Utilities with anything to do with Adobe. Voila it now runs perfectly ok. Re: contentIs Tune-Up Utilities the actual name of the product, Bubby? We can certainly keep our eyes out for it.
I too know from experience that a number of clean-up and registry-tuning products can be a bit too aggressive sometimes. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: contentHi Steve
Yes Tune-up Utilities is the actual name. Just a side note from this particular thread. We just recently found that IObit Malware was the cause of a problem we were having running the software for our mobiles, disabled that and everything was ok. Yet tune-up this time was fine.
