DVD Architect 7

Postby Richardmotsch » Sun Jan 29, 2017 8:23 pm

After using Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13. I have bought Vegas 14. I am wondering how I send my project to DVD Architect 7. The Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13 has a Make DVD button in the menu that sends the project to DVD Architect 5. But I haven't found anyway to get my edited project to go to DVD Architect 7. I sure will be very thankful if someone could help me out with this problem.

Thank you so much

Vegas 14 is the professional version of the program. Vegas Pro has never had a Make DVD button.

To manually output the files for DVD Architect, go to the Project menu and select Render As:
* To output the video, select Main Concept MPEG2 and use the DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen Video Stream option.
* To output the audio, select Sony Wave64 and use the 48000 Hz 16 Bit Stereo PC option.

Make sure both files have the same names and, when you import the video into a DVD Architect project, the audio will automatically be added and linked to it.

Steve said, " * To output the video, select Sony Wave64 and use the 48000 Hz 16 Bit Stereo PC option. "

Did you mean to say......

* To output the audio, select Sony Wave64 and use the 48000 Hz 16 Bit Stereo PC option.

Best Regards......George

I assume DVD Architect 7 is similar to DVD A 5.2 and 6 in this.

In DVD A, choose Insert menu > Media...
and find the .mpg file you rendered from the folder you have specified in the Vegas Render As window, select it and Open.
You should see your file now in DVD A (you will see the audio on the timeline when you double-click on the file).
Go to File > Properties to check that Disc Properties are what you want and change if they are not (click on the relevant boxes to see the pull-down menu).
Note that you can set these beforehand in File menu > New... > New Project window.
Check also Options > Preferences > Preview settings, esp. Region and Aspect ratio.

I suppose you know what to do with menus as you've used DVD A S before.
If as before, there should also be tutorials such as How to Add Titles in Help > Interactive tutorials to show you how.
