Re: Versions of Steve' bookAVITRY,
you'll be relieved to notice that the cover shown in the Muvipix Store seems to be exactly the same as on Amazon.com. I'm sure Steve will confirm that the book itself is the same version as well.
Re: Versions of Steve' bookI'm sure it is ... in everyone's world but mine .... LOL
Top pick is from this site and bottom pick is from amazon. Both says platinum 13. Muvipix says it in text, amazon says it on the book cover. Sigh ... just wanna buy the right book. Why should it be any easier than anything else You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. ASRock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen/3 motherboard. Re: Versions of Steve' bookAVITRY,
See (home page, left) Muvipix.com Guides > Sony Movie Studio 13, click and scroll down to the bottom of the opening page. You'll see exactly the same cover as on Amazon. Click that photo and you'll be in the Muvipix Store, which again gives you the same cover photo for the book. The sample pages under "What's new in this latest release" have screenshots that are from the Platinum version, not from the basic version as the text may imply. Steve once wrote about the basic MS 13 version that "you definitely do not want the generic plain vanilla edition". So I don't think he would even have considered writing a guide book concentrating on that version only.
Re: Versions of Steve' bookAh, never scrolled down after reading that the vers. 13 book shown, reflected that it was for the platinum version. I get it... it's all part of the conspiracy to finish me off. But they can't fool me, I'm too stupid.
Anyway, bought the book, thanks. ASRock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen/3 motherboard. Core i7 2600 and 16 gigs of ddr3. SSD Crucial boot drive, GTX750 Ti video card. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Re: Versions of Steve' bookAs I regularly remind myself, teachers are often just students who've read ahead a few chapters.

Re: Versions of Steve' bookI hear ya, but give yourself a ton more credit than that. You have a super solid foundation of general knowledge regarding these things that allows you to absorb individual program interfaces so much easier.
I have so many holes in my chain of understanding principles that sometimes the farther ahead I read, the dumber I get. ASRock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen/3 motherboard. Core i7 2600 and 16 gigs of ddr3. SSD Crucial boot drive, GTX750 Ti video card. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
