Track Motion locked

Postby jonnyD » Sat May 09, 2015 11:47 am

The track motion tool is not responding to any movement I do. I am wondering if I inadvertently clicked on a setting that would lock it. Is there a way to return the track motion tool to its default settings? And, in addition, why would the movement be locked?

I trust you have checked what your editing options are in the Track Motion window toolbar.

I solved this by creating a new video track and putting the video clip I want to track on it and then deleting the problem track. What specific editing options are you referring to? I have a very rudimentary understanding of the Track Motion tool. How do I find out what all the buttons do?

Online Help (F1): Track Motion > Editing track motion > Changing editing options.
Or hover your mouse over the icons in the T/M window.
You can also get quick context-sensitive help by clicking the What's this? button and then clicking the relevant part of the interface.
