How to superimpose two still photosI'm making a slideshow and I want to superimpose two still photos so it gives a double-exposure effect (not just a transition between 2 pix, but a longer duration). Can I change the opacity of both stills to do this? Do they need to be on two different tracks?
Computer: 3.2 GHz i5 CPU; 8GB RAM; ASUS GTX660 graphics card; Win 7 Pro 64-bit; 120GB SSD boot drive plus 1.5TB internal HDD
Software: Sony Movie Studio Platinum suite 13.0; Photoshop CS5
Re: How to superimpose two still photosYes, put each on a different track and lower each opacity to 50% or keyframe the opacity as desired.
Re: How to superimpose two still photosOk, so I found out how to change opacity by putting the cursor in the middle of the video track and dragging to change the percentage of opacity.
What do you mean by: I know how to keyframe movement; what is keyframing opacity? Computer: 3.2 GHz i5 CPU; 8GB RAM; ASUS GTX660 graphics card; Win 7 Pro 64-bit; 120GB SSD boot drive plus 1.5TB internal HDD

Re: How to superimpose two still photosKeyframing means creating an animation so that one phone seems to dissolve into another. In other words, you're increasing one photo's opacity as you're decreasing the other's.
But if that's not your intention, you don't have to worry about it. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: How to superimpose two still photosI don't have Vegas. I use Premiere Pro, so I can't give specific instructions, but I found this:
