Sony Vegas Pro 12 questionsI am thinking about buying Sony Vegas Pro 12. Is it worth the extra money to buy the suite version? Secondly, does anyone know if the Sony Vegas Pro 12 can work with 3D models? Thanks in advance, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Jeff,

Re: Sony Vegas Pro 12 questionsIf you want to work with 3D models, you'll need the suite. The suite includes HitFilm which supports 3D models. You can't create 3D models in Hitman, you'll need to get them elsewhere.
Re: Sony Vegas Pro 12 questionsHitFilm 2 Ultimate, by the way, is a MAJOR inclusion and, in my opinion, justifies the cost of the suite itself!
By itself, the program costs $500, so to get both it and Vegas in one package is quite a deal! At least if you're interested in creating very high-level (or low level) special effects. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Sony Vegas Pro 12 questionsThanks Joe, and Steve, I appreciate your insights. I love this community because of people like you. I have learned a great deal that I have found useful in my projects. Very key points each of you raise, with regard to 3d models and justified cost savings. Thank You!
