Chris, I haven't read all.
Will it be possible to use Vgas from a Creative Clouds system or will it be suitable for Linux/Ubuntu?

It seems to be Windows only still - And 64bit at that (32 bit support was dropped in V12). I don't see it running under a VM or emulation particularly well. The Video is worth a watch - that explains the "cloud" part of it. Probably of limited use to people here but I can see a Pro making good use of it.
