Special Lettering Positioning

Postby BuddyB » Tue Feb 18, 2014 10:05 am

I've created some special lettering for a video project. I convert the file to .PNG for the transparency. I place it and it works fine, transparency is good and it is placed in the center of the frame. I haven't figured out how to move the copy up or down in the frames for best positioning. Any suggestions appreciated.

I'm sure Steve will give a better answer but have you tried the 'pan and crop'?

Have you tried the clip's Pan/Crop tool?

I have not, but certainly will. It didn't even dawn on me. I've created another monster I haven't been able to correct. In manipulating the interface. I have now the preview window, trimmer and media window taking up all the space vertically and I've lost the timeline. I didn't realize that the ability by hand to drag it back would disappear. At this point I've not figured out how to get it back..duh. It says I should move the Splitter, but the Splitter isn't there and I no longer have the ability to re-size by hand the windows.

Try View > Window Layouts > Default Layout.
