I have a number of video files taken from an Android phone that I have already copied to my PC. I want to import them via VMS HD11. I can't remember the exact file name (Gs 3). Do they need to be converted to avi files?

No.

When you start your new Vegas project, select the option to Match Media Settings on the New Project option screen and then browse to sample of your phone footage (as I describe on page 29 of my book). The program will do its best to match your video's settings and you should get excellent results.

Thank you. Sorry about making the post in the wrong location. I intended to do it under Vegas but was accidentally in the wrong place. It's more challenging doing it from a Mobile phone and not being thatfamiliar with the site.
