Sometimes, not always, a clip is black. Not blank but black.
At first I thought it was related to adding Fx stuff, but now I am not sure. I can play a clip but parts are black Any suggestions? [ Post made via Mobile Device ] |

What model of camcorder was this clip shot with?
Also, open the clip up in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy this text and paste it to this forum. I've never heard of or experienced this issue, but the specs from this clip may be an indicator what is going on. |

That is an odd issue. You might double check the SD card you are using and make sure it is rated for the type of camera you are using. If you are shooting 4k etc you are looking for a class 10 rated SD card. You might check what the mfg recommends in terms of your camera. Also if you have another SD card you might try swapping them out and see if you are still experiencing the same issue on the 2nd SD card (provided the SD card is also the correctly rated card).
But Steve is right seeing the mediainfo is the first step. Sidd |

It is with SONY rx100 m4. The video it takes are fine. Playbfine
It is only sometimes, not always, that manipulation in Movie Studio Platinum 16 causes the issue. . I use a Sony 64 gb card, sdxc, 94 mb sec [ Post made via Mobile Device ] |

I am not shooting 4k. It is a class 10 card. Everything seems to work fine.
I will get media info today. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] |
