broken link

broken link

Postby curt y » Fri Mar 18, 2011 12:07 pm

I have a menu structure that I set up, but at the time did not have the video. Now that I have the video I want to insert into the broken link button, which is directly under the main menu.

I have tried various things with the button highlighted. A double click just adds another button, and dragging onto the box just gives another button.

So how do I get the video into the button which is labeled "broken link"?

Thanks

Well, it depends, Curt.

Is the video itself loaded into your DVD project yet? If not, adding a link to it doesn't really make sense.

The easiest way is to remove the existing button and drag the video from the Explorer panel onto your menu page. This will simultaneously add the video to your disc and create a menu button.

But if you're bound and determined to use the existing button for some reason, it is possible to add the video to the root directory of your project and then manually build links from the button to it. Which is a bit convoluted.

I recommend the easy way. ;)
