Menu/scene markers in DVD Architect Studio

Postby Jayell » Thu Feb 18, 2010 5:28 pm

I'm using DVD Architect Studio .. and I have Steve's wonderful guide to help me along, although I'm barely getting started.

I think I'm understanding that (if I'm going to use DVDAS for DVD authoring), the scene and/or chapter markers must be placed in DVDAS .. meaning it will NOT read those placed in the video by PRE (7 in my case) before bringing the video into DVDAS?

Also, for what it's worth, among the new Muvipix material we'll be releasing this month is a tutorial on how to add scene links and a scene menu to a video in DVD Architect!

I'm looking forward to it, Steve! I'm working my way through your book slowly, but it's sorta hard trying to hold the book open while you're reading and experimenting with the topic at hand. :???:

So, maybe Steve's next book will be available on CD or DVD and you can open it in another window over your project.... :- ;)

Now THAT'S an interesting idea, Peru!

Or would you prefer video tutorials at that point?

I a-l-w-a-y-s prefer video tutorials (printed stuff tends to put me to sleep  ), but even the printed stuff you can put in another window (especially those of us with two monitors) and keep your hands free to work.

What you really need is Wizards. I click a button, and your software automatically figures out what I really meant and does it automagically.

At least, that is what my wife always asks for...

I prefer tutorials, that is if it covers the task I need to perform. A text version, however, can have more information and is more easily searchable.

Bobby-
My wife expects the same of me.
