Exporting from Premiere Pro for DVDAS

Thanks for the additional considerations.

Since I will be outputing each scene as a separate file, and I will be archiving those files in case of further authoring needs, I will use the MPEG2-DVD since it will be a smaller file than the DV AVI.

I could not find a two pass option in Pro like there is in Elements.
Is there one, and would it make a difference?

If you are using separate files then there is no i-frame issue. I tend not to do that - my workflow has all the scenes as separate files but I then pull them all into a PRE "assembly" project and build it all there first. I find it is easier to do consistent scene titles, etc. that way.

That was similar to how I was doing it, Bobby.

I've found that now with Pro I can have different sequences in the same project, so an "assembly" project is really not necessary. And as a bonus, all of my Pre El 3 projects open in pro with everything intact.
