DVDAS install over demo

Postby stanatou » Fri Sep 25, 2009 11:53 pm

A couple of months ago I downloaded, installed, and used the trial version of DVD Architect Studio. Tonight I purchased and downloaded the 'real' version but after installing it I still get the 'trial time has expired' message with the link to purchase the software. I've uninstalled the trial version and re-installed the purchased version a couple of times but still get the same message. The email from Sony gives me a license key to enter but I never get to a point where I can do that. Anyone have any ideas or experienced this already?

Hopefully, Sony customer service will be available tomorrow (Saturday)...I need to fix a menu on a project for delivery Monday.

The Sony knowledge base says this:

"Try selecting the option for Buy Now. The next screen will show two options:
"Purchase via the Web" and "Purchase via phone". Choose the option for "Purchase via phone".
The next screen should allow you to enter the serial number that was provided with your purchase. Enter it and follow through with the registering the software."

That wasn't specifically for DVDAS, but it might be worth trying.
