Hi, I bought this recently and have to say it is excellent. Now just waiting for the update to Media Studio 12 to be complete so I can buy that.

That's wonderfully encouraging, Bob! I'm deep into the version 12 book now and expect to finish it and have it to market sometime early this winter.

I received my copy of the guide just yesterday and I'm already half way through it.

So far, this book meets all of my expectations and then some! I agree with BobH: It is excellent. Clear, concise, in plain language, easy to follow, it is a breeze to read. I am really impressed, but not surprised; judging by the calibre of the few free training videos that Steve has on this site, I had no doubt that the book would be on par. I thought I knew DVDA fairly well and even doubted the need to spend money on a book ... only to realize just half way through the book how much better by earlier productions could have been.

Good job Steve. And as they say, all good things are worth waiting for! :hyst:

I'll chime in, too. Got the book for Christmas and just finished it today. Great stuff! Took the mystery right out of "what are all these...uh... things?" Ready to start on the Prel11 book now!

Thanks, Gerry!

And I hope that, if you really like the books, you'll put in a good word for me on Amazon.com. A good consumer review goes a long way in promoting a book!
