Project settings for photo slide show for Elements 9

Used Premiere years ago and made many great videos and slideshows. Got Premiere Elements 9 and stumped on which project settings to use for making a Wedding Slideshow of Photos. Many options from grabbing video from Camcorders, HD cameras, FLIp etc..but not sure which to select.

All pics are now 1000x750 pixels. I plan on showign this on an LCD projector as well as burnng this onto DVD for use on a widescreen TV and playing off my computer.

Any help is appreciated as the weeding is weeks away. I just recieved my copy via AmAZON of Steves book which I am finding amazing.

Are you saying that you are not using any video in your project? It's all photos? If that's the case, you should use the setting for DV video. Then output your project to a DVD. This should give you excellent results on an LCD projector.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I was average user of Premiere about 6 years ago. Have not touched it since so the book was a great refersher. The layout beats any other book I seen in the bookstore. Thanks! I will use the DV selection. All photos were resized to 1000x 750 as per my readings on this forum.

One last question. I realized that I formated a bunch of the pictures to 2000 x 1500. I guess I may have read this somewhere and then switched to 1000x750 half way thru. Should i convert all the 2000x1500 pics or is it ok to leave...

I would recommend resizing them all to 1000x750. It will save you a lot of time and grief in the long run.
