Is there a way in Premiere Elements 9 to import media direct from a Collection in Lightroom? I can go to the original file in the library, but I am now using lightroom to organize pictures and movies and that makes it much easier to find the files I want.

Hi Jim, Welcome to Muvipix 
From what I understand and have read there is no way to use a Lightroom Catalog in Photoshop Elements or Premiere Elements.
The products are tightly integrated with their own catalog. I would think however that you can open the Lightroom catalog and simply drag and drop images into the Premiere Elements Media Panel.
