DV-AVI Option not found

The Muvipix.com Guide to PSE 9 & PRE 9 states in several places (eg pp 339-341) that DV-AVI is the ideal output for a project if you want to continue working with it in PRE, and that this option is available under Share/Computer. I don't see it as such. The PRE 9 menu looks different than the screen shot in the book on 339. Is DV-NTSC considered the DV-AVI option? Or is it Microsoft AVI or uncompressed Microsoft AVI?

Yes, it's DV-NTSC. There's one for standard and one for widescreen. Share > Computer > AVI. Then select one of the DV presets.

I think even Quicktime has a DV option, but I forget how to get there since I don't use it often.

The DV-AVI option is only available on the Windows version of the program.

As the book says on the sidebar on page 3451, on the Mac version, the equivalent is the DV-MOV.
