Hi there,
I'm a complete newb to video editing (though no stranger to photo editing) and am having a tough time getting PrEl to do what I want.
I cannot figure out how to achieve an effect in PrE 9 and am not sure if it's even possible, so hoping someone here can give me a clue.
I want to apply a zoom out effect to a still image so that at the beginning I'm zoomed way in (maybe 300%) on a street sign that appears at the left edge of the image so that this street sign fills the entire frame. I then want to zoom out to 100% so that you can see the entire still image.
In short, a zoom out effect of 300% - 100% beginning at a specific place in the frame.
How do I do this? Honestly, the numbers for anchor point and scale in the modify effects window for a zoom are really confusing and don't seem to produce the results I'm after no matter what I do with them...
I have been able to achieve this effect quite easily in a different program (AVS Video Editor) but would rather use PrEl as it does other things much better.
Thanks for any suggestions!
