Re: Horizontal lines foreverThat's why I suggested version 7 as an option rather than paying the price for Premiere Pro.
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.
2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.
Re: Horizontal lines foreverI see. But it's so absurd to have to buy each version to do this stuff.
Re: Horizontal lines foreverUntil we figure out what the problem is with exporting deinterlaced video with version 9 there isn't much choice I guess. I have been very happy with Premiere Pro CS3 and the Adobe Media Encoder.

Re: Horizontal lines foreverI want to be as happy as you are!
Also, I still cannot find the page for Pro, along with the upgrade price. Ah! I see that an upgrade from Elements is still $700. Ouch.
Re: Horizontal lines foreverFrom time to time, Adobe has mailed out offers to upgrade to Premiere Pro for $299. I don't know if they are still doing that, but, if they are, you should get them if you registered Premiere Elements and agreed to receive email offers.
FYI, Adobe has just announced Premiere Pro CS5.5 to be available sometime in May.
Re: Horizontal lines foreverI took your tip and registered just now, Bob. I'll let you know what happens. I'm tired of buying programs I don't need. I also bought Dreamweaver a while back and ended up not using it.
