Thanks much, Dave!

And I'm an old guy too... but not a "veteran" when it comes to digital movies. :)

Come to think of it, not sure if I'm a veteran of any skills! LOL

Well Ted...You have a winner! The summary states deinterlaced and see that you went with 2 pass encoding. Looks very good and I don't see any combing. See it wasn't all geek to you after all. =D> Now save that as a preset and you are good to go for future projects. Congrats!

Well, I certainly could do NOTHING without your patient tutoring and guidance. Thanks so much, Cheryl! :) img0253

A follow-up question. Should I want to ever make a 1080 HD video, what would I need to change in the preset?

I don't think you would have to do much more than change the size to 1920 x 1080 Ted.
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

Thanks, Chuck! You know, I figured that just one second before I saw your reply. :)

Maybe there is hope for me after all?! :CS:
