Old problem on different computer

Postby jangrammy » Wed Mar 16, 2011 3:26 pm

I now loaded PE9 onto the designer's existing computer which is
HP Pavilion Model AY691AA#ABA
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8300
ACPI x64-based PC
Windows 7 Home Premium

No problems with download or importing videos into a new project but once there cannot get the clip monitor to come up nor will it play either the video or sound.
I noticed there was discussion of problems with PE9 and 64 bit but do not know if that applies only to VIsta.
Any suggestions?

Appreciate the help.

I had downloaded the Quicktime update and at your suggestion found a Microsoft update which seemed to make the difference.
I am up and running ;o) Now just need to learn the program.

Many thanks for your prompt replies and assistance.
