has anyone else have this Problem. i have Contacted Adobe and Other people on this Problem. any Ideals as To What I am doing WRONG. There is Nothing Wrong with My Camcorder FireWire. i have tested this on someone Elses Computer and it Started working the 2nd time.

Can you please be a more specific about what's happening, videocreater?

How do you know there is no problem with your camcorder and FireWire connection? What other programs have you used it with?

Are you clicking on Get Media/From DV and then using the Premiere Elements Capture Utility? What are you seeing on this screen?

Can you post a screen capture of this screen in your next link so we can examine it?

Steve i Know that there is no Problem with my Camcorder or FireWire because WE Tested it on Your iMac.

Oh yeah. Sorry. Didn't recognize the logon name.

But unfortunately I still don't know what to tell you about your computer. Didn't you say you can't even get iMovie to recognize the camcorder?

I've just never heard of a Mac having to so much trouble with this pretty basic FireWire function.
