How to use the FREE Downloads. for Mac.

how would i go about getting/using the FREE DownLoads here. i'm on a Mac Computer.

Shouldn't make any difference. Virtually all are cross-platform.

the Halloween, and Special Effects i tried to Download the Sound Effects. but that would not work.

Be sure you unzip the files, that is the biggest problem people seem to have.
If the downloaded files have a .zip extension you need to unzip them first

What do you mean by "would not work"?

What browser are you using and are you using a download manager of any kind?

i mean the Sound Effects would not work. as in would not Download. the Halloween and Special Effects Downloaded but the Sound Effects would not Download.

I just downloaded it without issue.

Please provide more details please. "Would not download" doesn't help me. What error messages, if any, are you receiving? What kind of connection do you have (broadband, DSL, dial-up)? What browser are you using?

I thought this might have been the issue we've occasionally seen with Macs, Ron, that keeps them from downloading from our site.

But I successfully downloaded the Zip file with both Safari and Chrome on my Mac. So the download works fine.

Though, as you've indicated, you must Unzip the file before you use can use the sound effects. You can't import the WAVs from the Zipped file into a Premiere Elements project.

i cant even get it to Download like the Other Files. plus i cant even use the Video Files.

Videocreater, can you please tell us step-by-step what you're doing and then what you're seeing happen?

We can't help you troubleshoot this if all you're going to tell us is that you tried something and it didn't work.

As I said, I've used two different browsers on my Mac and, in both cases, clicking on the green Free button resulted in a Zip file downloading to my computer. When I Unzipped the file, the WAV files were all there.

What happens when you click the green Free button? Which browser are you using?
