delete and adjust Fade-in video

delete and adjust Fade-in videoI am having trouble getting rid of and adjusting some the 'fade-in' effects on videos. When I have a fade-in on a clip on Video 1 line, I can see how to delete it and adjust the speed and intensity of fading in with the yellow line. But, when I do a fade-in on a clip on video 2 (or higher), I do not see the yellow fade-in line shown, nor can I seem to find a way to adjust or delete the fade-in after I have moved on to other adjustments and rendered the file. Any directions would be appreciated. Hawkeye
Re: delete and adjust Fade-in videoIf I have understood the problem correctly what you need to do is select the clip then open the effect controls panel. You will see, under the 'Motion' tab, a setting for opacity which you can keyframe.

Re: delete and adjust Fade-in videoThe way John describes is the way to access this effect.
However, is your problem that the track display size is "small"... you can adjust the track display height to be the same as track 1... you should then be able to see the yellow "rubber band".
Re: delete and adjust Fade-in videoPaul:
You were right. I couldn't see the yellow adjustment lines because the track size was set to small. I can't find any reference to adjusting the track size in any of the books but I was able to figure out thanks to your pointing it out. Thanks for this vital piece of info. Hawkeye
Re: delete and adjust Fade-in videoI think it would be impossible to have every single feature, and every possible way of changing things, in a single book, that's why we have Muvipix

The tutorials here are filled with tips and learn things that are not the main topic of the tut. I have probably said that too many times, but just watching someone navigate the user interface is a big jump in learning the program. aka Cheryl
