PE9 Tutorials & Examples compared to Prev Versions

Since I am new to PE9 and have no experience with any previous versions of this product, I am curious as to how online tutorials and examples relate to this newer version of PE. In other words, I know there were enhancements made for PE9 - How far back (PE versions) can I go in reviewing online tuts in PE that would still work in the new environment?

Hi Denny,
The main user interface has not changed much since version 4. Obviously some things have moved, been removed and new features have been added in versions 7, 8 and 9, but basic functions have not changed since even version 2.
Keyframing, using the timeline and work area bar, creating titles, adding and modifying effects and transitions, moving clips on the timeline, trimming clips and a lot more are still done the same way as back in version 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8.

All of the tutorials have value no matter the version. I picked up lots of tips watching someone navigate the interface and learned more than just the topic of the tut.
