Audio: how to fix "in the well" sound

Postby Ron Hunter » Thu Dec 08, 2011 4:20 pm

A client recorded his voice using a PC microphone and I'm trying to make a video with it using PRE9. It sounds like he recorded the audio while standing in a well. Is there a tool within PRE9 that will help improve the audio quality? I tried a Highpass filter with 150Hz cutoff and that helped, but if there is a better way I'd love to hear it!

Sometimes the Notch Filter will help, you can also play with the Dynamics Effect.
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.
