How to tie a narration clip to a video or photo clip?

Postby dsttexas » Sun Sep 25, 2011 6:42 pm

I suspect the answer lies in Steve's book, which I don't have with me ](*,)

I very nicely created and lined up a bunch of narration clips to where I wanted them against video and photo clips. Then decided to add in near the front a new photo or two, which slides that track to the right. However, now all my narrations after that point are no longer lined up where I want them.

I'm sure there is a way to insert a new video/photo clip and have ALL tracks move right accordingly, right?

Thanks,
Don

Hold the Ctrl Key as you drop the clip Don, that should move everything over nicely.

....or drag a lasso around the clips and narration on the timeline then right click and select the 'Group' option. I don't use PrEl but that's how you do it in PPro (hopefully the process is similar) :?: then you can move them all and they will stay in sync.
