Creating title Screens for Videos

Postby cspitser » Tue Feb 01, 2011 4:19 pm

I use pse6.

I have been using powerdirector v.8 I like the editing features, but not the title screens. I like title screens that are simple pleasing backgrounds and I don't need animation. I use them to start off each event (state the subject matter, place and date) Powerdirector does not have a good library of screens. I would like to find a place to download simple title screen backgrounds and then I would put them in pse6 and add the text.

Currently, I go into pe4, and create a title screen, then export a frame, and then use that in my video (very cumbersome).

I know that muvipix has titles to download, but many have animation, and need to be processed in premier elements.

I would appreciate your advice.

Actually, most of those motion backgrounds should also work in PowerDirector, Cliff. They're pretty universal.

But what kind of background are you looking for, specifically? Something realistic, like scenery, or something abstract? Can you show us an example of what you're looking for?

I'm sure we can help you find it, if we don't have it.

I have been using the "children" category in PE4. Like "baby girl", baby boy" , "Kids corner" also weddings and vacations. etc. I need some new ones, especially children (we just had our third grandchild)

I don't need motion. I just need ann easy way to add the text. I was planning to use pse6 for this.

You can always import one of our motion backgrounds and then export a frame to use for your title :)

Here is a pretty nice list of sites with free backgrounds, lots of stuff to choose from and look at.
