Re: new in PhotoshopWelcome to Muvipix, John!
A 23 inch widescreen monitor is pretty much standard these days. And most programs -- including Photoshop, Photoshop Elements and InDesign -- are designed to take advantage of the space. Do you need help deciding on which computer to buy? We can help you pick a processor that should give you excellent performance. Re: new in Photoshop
Hi John and welcome to Muvipix. I recently upgraded my twin 19 inch Samsung HD monitors to a Dell 27 inch screen with 2650 x 1440 resolution, model number U2717D. Although slightly bigger than the 23 inch model you have been looking at the higher resolution is ideal for photo editing IMHO. Be aware that if you are a gamer then the input lag on the U2717D might not be ideal and you should look at the U2719. Just my twopennyworth.
