cannot parse the file

Postby Bubby Grub » Sun Nov 06, 2016 10:25 pm

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has come across this error: "file-format cannot parse the file"
This has just started to happen with a couple of kits I bought, I am also into scrapbooking
which I use in the editing part. I can view them outside of CS6 or CC without a problem,
then I try to load into CS6 or CC I get this error, then all of a sudden what could be viewed
outside of CS6 now can't be. I have googled but unfortunately have not come up with
anything concrete that will work, it was suggested to take them into another program
and re-save them but no matter what even if I can do that I loose the transparency PNG's
or not. I have also tried them on another computer same result. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

What is the file? Is it a picture format, like a TIF, PNG or JPEG? (I'm not sure what you mean by "kit".)

If you'd like, you can upload one of the files to a public folder on Dropbox and then share the link to it here. A couple of us could play with it and see if we can see what's going on.

I think it is a scrapbooking kit, a bunch of images/graphics to use in a digital scrapbook.
