Thanks Brian for all of the info, very helpful. I was stressing a bit on getting a new cam and what work flow I would need. You've cleared up my concerns. :-D

This also gave me some ideas regarding a previous question that I had about recording on a HD camcorder, knowing that the final output (in some projects) would be SD 4:3. Very interesting. :tup:

24" iMac. 17" MBP. FCPX and a little bit of Premiere Pro. Nine recent Panasonic HD camcorders. Many (but never enough) terabytes of external storage...

The Owle Bubo makes a really nice adaptor that allows the iPhone user to add professional lenses to the iPhone. For me the Flip camera does what the iPhone 4 can do but at 60fps which I really like. My biggest fear with the iPhone is the cost of replacement if it gets damaged.
